The housing development plan for the period 2021–2025 was approved by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on March 9.

There are 69 residential projects with a total area of 5,934 ha, with a total floor area of about 18.6 million/m2; 14 villa projects with a total area of 152 hectares, with a total floor area of 435,809 m2; 12 apartment complexes and commercial centers are built on 71.55 hectares of land with a total floor area of 383,951 square meters.

According to the newly adjusted housing development plan, Khanh Hoa's total housing area will increase by about 10.7 million square meters (equivalent to 133,427 units) in the period 2021–2025. Commercial housing area increased by about 4 million square meters (equivalent to 46,426 units) of floor.

In addition, at this time, the province's commercial housing demand is mainly concentrated in Cam Ranh City with 16,705 units, Cam Lam District with 9,698 units, Nha Trang City with 8,647 units, Ninh Hoa Town with 4,846 units. apartments and Van Ninh district with 3,441 apartments.

Khanh Hoa province will develop many notable commercial housing projects from 2021 to 2025.

For example, Nha Trang has 98 projects. Among them, there are many projects of great value, such as investment in developing Hon Tre Island is 3,405 billion VND, Hoang De apartment building is 1,000 billion VND, Thai Tong urban area is 2,034 billion VND, commercial and service urban area. Phuong Hoang is 2,993 billion VND, Doi Dat Lanh urban area is 8,717 billion VND, Vinh Diem Trung urban area is 2,146 billion VND, Phuc Son villa complex is 4,500 billion VND, Tan Lap residential area 2,719 billion VND.

 There are 18 projects implemented in Cam Ranh city, including Cam Lam's new urban area with an area of 1,610 hectares and Cam Ranh's bayside urban area with a value of 42,269 billion VND.

In addition, there are 30 projects implemented in Ninh Hoa town, Cam Lam District 27 projects, Van Ninh District 27 projects, Dien Khanh 17 projects, Khanh Vinh 11 projects, and Khanh Son 6 projects.

Targets of the housing development program are calculated based on the development list of commercial housing projects in the housing development plan mentioned above. The investment project and investor will be approved by the competent authority according to the provisions of law on construction and housing.

Welcome the investment wave

The general planning for the construction of Van Phong Economic Zone and the planning for Khanh Hoa province for the period 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050, were consecutively approved by the Prime Minister on March 28 and 29, 2023.

Khanh Hoa Province in general and Van Phong Economic Zone in particular, including the real estate development sector, have many development opportunities thanks to the two new plans mentioned above.

According to the plan, by 2030, Khanh Hoa will become a centrally run city, an international marine tourism and service center; a growth pole and center of the Central Coast region, Central Highlands and the whole country in terms of marine economy, high technology, science and technology, innovation, human resource training and care services High Quality.

Among the nation's 15 highest provinces and cities, the GRDP per capita is the highest. Synchronous and modern investments have been made in infrastructure. With a number of international-class urban areas, the urban system is developing in a modern, smart, sustainable, and richly identifiable direction.

Specifically, Khanh Hoa's average growth rate of GRDP is 8.3%/year; GRDP per capita is 189 million VND; average labor productivity growth reached 7%/year; The urbanization rate reached 70%; Total tourist arrivals reached 13.8 million, including 7 million international visitors and 6.8 million domestic tourists; The digital economy accounts for about 30% of GRDP.

The plan also identifies three development-driving regions in Khanh Hoa province including Van Phong Bay, Nha Trang City, and Cam Ranh Bay

Regarding the urban system planning plan, by 2030, Khanh Hoa will have two I urban areas (Nha Trang City and Cam Lam new urban area), one II urban area (Cam Ranh City), and 1 III urban area, two grade IV cities, and type V cities.

Nha Trang City is a nuclear city; Cam Ranh City is a tourism-logistics urban area; Cam Lam District becomes a modern, ecological, world-class airport urban area; Van Ninh District becomes a high-class coastal tourism urban area; Ninh Hoa Town is an industrial urban area; Dien Khanh district is an ecological and traditional cultural urban area; Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts are mountain and forest ecological sub-urban areas.

Similar to the above planning, the Prime Minister's approval to adjust the general planning for the construction of Van Phong Economic Zone is also expected to have a positive impact on socio-economic development in the area.

Accordingly, Van Phong Economic Zone will have service and tourism development areas with various types of eco-tourism - entertainment, luxury resorts, golf courses, casinos, parks, and yacht exhibitions. international.

Besides, Van Thang, Van Ninh district also has an area expected to develop an airport with an area of about 500 hectares.

Golf course development areas are located on Hon Lon, Dam Mon, and Tuan Le - Hon Ngang islands. The golf course development area until 2030 in Dam Mon has an area of 176 hectares. Other golf course areas have a total area of about 479 hectares.

The adjusted planning also determines urban residential development with a total area of land of 5,396 hectares; Mixed residential development areas (residential, service) have a total area of land of 173 hectares; Rural residential areas have a total land area of land of 1,418 hectares.
