Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just approved two urban areas with a total area of nearly 1,000 hectares in Trang Bom Town. It is implemented in the period from now to 2030.

Specifically, urban development area I of Trang Bom Town has a total area of more than 510 hectares. It covers the entire 4.5 neighborhoods; part of neighborhoods 1,2,3, Trang Bom Town, and part of Hill 61 commune.

The boundaries of the area I include: The North borders neighborhoods 1, 2, and 3 of Trang Bom town and Song Trau commune; The South borders Quang Tien commune and Doi 16 commune; The East borders Bau Xeo industrial park; The West borders Quarter 3 of Trang Bom town and Quang Tien commune

This area is the administrative, political, economic, and social center of Trang Bom district.
