Vung Tau City People's Committee has just organized the Development Congress. The content is to announce land recovery and disseminate additional policies and resettlement support. The State recovers land to implement the road project connecting Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway (from Vung Van to Vung Tau coastal road DT 994).
The road project connecting Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway has a length of 6.8km and a total investment capital of nearly 5,200 billion VND.
The main project route is an urban road - an urban highway. The design speed is 100km/h and the racetrack design speed is 60km/h.
On the route, there will be three bridges: Co May Bridge 3, Cay Khe Bridge 4, and the overpass at the coastal road intersection DT994...
The total area of land recovered is more than 261,609 square meters. It includes 194.3 square meters of residential land; more than 102 thousand m2 of agricultural land, and more than 134 thousand m2 of aquaculture land. The remaining land is traffic, irrigation, and Ngoi River land.
The total number of land recovery cases is 159 cases and involves 299 households and units.
It is expected that there will be 30 cases of resettlement, residential land, apartments in technical infrastructure areas, public works areas, and resettlement in Ward 12; Thang Tam ward resettlement apartment and Northwest A3 resettlement area in Ward 12.
The decision to recover land and approve the compensation, support, and resettlement plan will be implemented no later than June 30, 2024. Regular payments, support, and site handover will take place on July 31, 2024.
Vung Tau City People's Committee said that the road connecting Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway with coastal road DT 944 has great significance in local socio-economic development.
This route will connect and help promote the exploitation efficiency of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau as well as the coastal road DT 944.
Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project will start construction in June 2023. The project has a length of 53km and a total investment capital of nearly 18,000 billion VND.
This high-speed line includes 3 project components. Project Component 1 and Project Component 2 go through Dong Nai province, and Project Component 3 goes through Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
Project Component 3 is nearly completed. The expressway through Ba Ria - Vung Tau has gradually taken shape.
Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway is expected to be completed in 2025 and put into operation in 2026. The project will help reduce the traffic of National Highway 51 and connect with a series of major traffic. It includes Long Thanh Airport; Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway; Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway…
Coastal Road DT 944 is being expanded to 6-8 lanes
Coastal road DT 944 will also start construction in June 2023 with a length of 77 km. The route will be expanded to 6-8 lanes, and the total investment is more than 7,000 billion VND.
The route has the first intersection with road 991B in Phu My town, the endpoint with intersection 55 in Binh Chau commune, Xuyen Moc district.
The project connects adjacent coastal localities of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long Son commune (Vung Tau city), Long Dien, Dat Do, and Xuyen Moc districts.
This is a place providing socio-economic services in the eastern part of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. In particular, the route serves as a connection between famous coastal tourist destinations from Vung Tau - Binh Thuan.
Currently, there have been a series of large-scale resort real estate projects along this coastal road.
When there is a high-speed connection between Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, the real estate market in this area promises to have more development motivation because traffic is easy and travel time is shortened.
